The crime was utterly callous in nature and there is no excuse or justification for his conduct, which was driven purely by greed. The harm inflicted by this defendant will last a lifetime for his victims. Hopefully today’s sentence will offer them a sense of justice.” Grossman praised prosecutors Joseph Green, Alexandra Foster and Sabrina Feve; FBI Special Agents; and the U.S.
FBI Says Girls Do Porn Founder Is a Wanted Fugitive
Jane Doe 7 ended up filming a porn video under duress in a hotel room where furniture blocked the door, preventing her from leaving. In addition, from ancient times well into the 19th century, farming was the world’s main occupation. It included raising pigs, goats, sheep, cattle, donkeys, and horses. Animal fecundity meant the difference between food on the table and starvation.
- A lawsuit was filed this week on behalf of 61 women against Pornhub’s parent company for allegedly hosting videos produced by former San Diego-based website GirlsDoPorn.com, the owners and operators of which were charged by federal prosecutors with sex trafficking.
- Prosecutors say numerous women were lured by the defendants through the promise of modeling jobs, flown to San Diego, then were threatened with lawsuits and canceled return flights home if they backed out of filming pornographic videos.
- On Tuesday, Pratt pleaded not guilty to charges including sex trafficking, production of child pornography and sex trafficking of a minor.
- For the next two years, Pratt and a porn actor who he had found on Craigslist travelled from city to city filming videos of amateur girls in hotel rooms across the US.
women sue PornHub’s parent company for allegedly hosting videos posted by San Diego’s GirlsDoPorn
During her testimony, the woman described what her attorneys call an “elaborate scheme” to convince her and hundreds of other women to appear in sex videos which were later posted to some of the most popular websites in the world. They were allegedly told that the job would be anonymous and that their videos would not be posted on the web, but were being made for DVDs of private collectors or far-flung markets. However, the videos were later distributed publicly via sites including Pornhub according to US Attorneys. According to the women who appeared in GirlsDoPorn videos, Garcia pressured them into filmed sex acts and lied about the true nature of the shoot. Hundreds of people tricked into making explicit videos for porn websites have been awarded the rights to the videos and millions of dollars in damages. Wolfe trained co-defendant Theodore Gyi, a cameraman, on how to run video shoots and told Gyi that, if asked, to tell the women that the videos would not be posted on the internet.

What happened in that room completely upended Jane’s life since—it’s followed her throughout school, to her first jobs out of college, through every success she’s ever earned, and in every relationship she’s ever been in. She is one of 22 women who sued fraudulent porn production company Girls Do Porn and won millions of dollars in a civil trial in 2020, and whose testimonies led to an FBI indictment of the owners and operators of the site. “Jonathan’s” real name is Ruben Andre Garcia, who pled guilty to federal sex trafficking charges in December.
Prosecutors recommended roughly the same prison term for Garcia, the actor, when he was sentenced in June 2021 after pleading guilty to a sex-trafficking conspiracy. However, as part of the plea agreement, prosecutors said they would recommend a term in the midrange of the sentencing guidelines, not above 12 years and six months. “This defendant was a key player in a despicable fraud that has devastated the victims,” said U.S. The video was supposed to end with the text “These retarded lawyers and disquisting [sic] whores wasted 3 years of everyones [sic] time. Ask yourself how viral these videos will go now if nobody is controlling them… Good job.” Brewer also says that FBI agents “found evidence of efforts to harass and intimidate the victims and their attorneys.”
She locked herself in the bathroom while Wolfe and Garcia tried to coax her out. But soon after the incident, she was harassed at work—Jane Doe 7’s video had been posted online. While she only looked at it on one website, others told Doe the video was now all over the Internet.
Several women described during his sentencing hearing how links to their videos were sent en masse to family members, friends and co-workers, sabotaging their employment prospects and ruining familial relationships to this day. One woman said she’s faced consistent harassment since her video was posted nine years ago, leading her to move and change her name. The woman said she’s about to graduate from college, but said that though “I’m proud to be the first in my family to go to college, when I graduate, it’s not going to be my name that’s called.” According to the U.S. attorney’s office, the videos were posted on sites like PornHub and GirlsDoPorn, netting Pratt and co-conspirator Michael Wolfe, who was sentenced Tuesday for his role, as much as $17 million. In his ruling, Judge Enright sided with the plaintiffs, ruling that the “fraudulent scheme” had led to the women experiencing significant emotional and reputational harm.
